You are self imposing a certain discipline on yourself, as people have done for thousands of years.
You’re not asking for your family’s speech volume to be policed.
I get the technical similarities but the reasons are very different.
- verdverm 4y agoI wouldn't mind if my neighbors loudness was policed, though I'm not sure an alarm preventing talking would be any better
