What's the reason behind this "As always, please don’t use the autogenerated tarball provided by github, but only our tar.xz file. The checksums are:"
- Normille 4y agoThe wording is a bit vague, but I presumed they meant to use the tar.xz if you intended to checksum the file.
- hnaccount141 4y agoMaybe referring to the source tarball github generates for releases?
- cozzyd 4y agoNo idea what the build system is, but for some you want users to download the prebootstrapped version
