>> Do you think the future of mobility simply lies in electric vehicles?
No, but there are many places where internal combustion vehicles are the current "affordable" option and will need to be replaced by a non-polluting vehicle.
Electric vehicles seem like the next best replacement, but they are typically too expensive and do not have enough battery charging infrastructure for wide-spread adoption.
Lower cost, non-luxury electric vehicles need to be developed and sold. Ideally their development costs and sales to consumers could be subsidized to make them more affordable. Polluting vehicles could also have a trade-in value so that electric vehicles are an option for all drivers.
>> Where do you think should a minimum wage worker install solar panels?
Solar panels should be installed anywhere there is enough sunlight. While there are initial costs to manufacture and install the solar panels in most cases they will pay for themselves from the generated electricity. Nuclear power needs to replace other polluting power plants. Fission plants now, research and development for fusion plants. Stars are the ultimate energy source--both natural and human-made.
>> What can be done to avoid this problem?
Make it a priority. That is the hardest part.
