- kkielhofner 4y agoI have a dual 2697 v3 and it's still remarkably capable. Single core perf is "not great" but for my use cases it works fantastically all things considered. Current specs: - 512GB ECC - x8 16TB spinning rust - x8 4TB NVMe - 1TB Intel P3600 for EFI boot and "misc" - Nvidia RTX 3090 (rare dual slot) - Dual 10gig ethernet + onboard 1gig ethernet It performs well with just about anything I throw at it - even concurrently. 512GB of RAM really helps. While this is more-or-less maxed out for my configuration I still couldn't imagine having three of them in my house!
