I really think you're reading too much into this. Your comment was quite inflammatory (calling certain behaviour disgusting) and had both objectively false info (tailscale is in free for individual use) and subjectively questionable statements ("setting up x in aws is easy").
Going forward, consider properly researching pricing and consider that what you might find easy might not be what the vast majority of people agree with.
Disclaimer: I have no relation to Tailscale, but the company I work for pays for the business tier service.

- boredtofears 4y ago> . Your comment was quite inflammatory (calling certain behaviour disgusting) I used the 'disgusting' reference because the parent did. I could have lightened the language perhaps, but I truly do find it detestable when people use subscription services to pave over something that takes a small amount of time to learn. The comment is certainly no more egregious than the parent. > and had both objectively false info (tailscale is in free for individual use) Dunno what that means, I never disputed that in my comment, you seem to be reading it out of context.
- michelledepeil 4y agoYou're right that the parent used "disgusting", and there too it was inflammatory. With regards to the pricing, your comment said "pay a subscription fee", which implies all tiers of Tailscale are paid, which they aren't, similar to AWS free tier services.
