For weeks Islamists mobs have marched in India baying for blood saying anyone insulting the prophet will be beheaded. How is Islamic intolerance and Sharia blasphemy laws formulated supposedly 1000 years ago Modi's doing? India has a federal structure. Most of the prosecutions of journalists have been by State governments who are not aligned with the Modi's govt. The federal govt actually has no policing ability and all ability to file police cases and arrests have to be done by State govts.
