Unity made a big push in 2020 because of metaverse optimism, correct? It seems to me like the end of lockdowns and economic downturn is proving just how delusional some of those VR tech ambitions actually were...
- dagmx 4y agoUnity , unlike Epic, hasn't been pushing the metaverse angle much. Their acquisitions haven't really been in that space much either. There were a lot of metaverse projects that used unity, but those wouldn't have affected unity much directly.
