Honestly just something that can take me to any exit on a highway from my house would be an amazing improvement.
I don’t even need A to B, just give me A to A* where that distance is 90% of the trip.
- phailhaus 4y agoThe last mile? Isn't that the hardest part of self driving? If you solve that part then you can already drive on highways.

I've personally driven 90% of my ~25k/km on AP. Where I used to live I was about 1km to the highway, but about 40km to anything I cared about so AP was my best friend.
