34 people killed is a pretty surprising number. Is it fair to refer to the makers of the videos as murderers? On a moral, if not legal, level?

- kazinator 4y agoIf they contributed to the takedown of the critical video which informs about the dangers and deaths then I don't find myself able to casually dismiss the accusation of murder (as I would were that not the case).
- wmeredith 4y agoI'm not sure murder is the right crime here. Seems more passive like willfull neglect or something. Not a lawyer.
- bedast 4y agoThat's 34 known and only in the US, as noted by Ann. Her new video notes 30 in the UK and more in Australia (where she lives). And it can't be reiterated enough, this is those that are known to be caused by this. It makes you wonder how many other electrocutions or fires were caused by this without noting this as the source, whether known or not. Unfortunately, I don't think there's precedence nor law that places liability on these people.
