Instead of dak, I've heard this and tend to use it as tac instead, which apparently originates from flag separators in the Navy [0], so there is some logic behind it.

- turbocon 4y agoYou have solved a mystery that has plagued me for years, thank you! tac took off at a former company of mine and I really like it. The hard t and k sound make it a much a better word than dash if you're describing a set of command line options.
