A game changer is a little silicon tube from amazon in which you can roll the garlic cloves and the skin peels right off. I can run through a bulb in less than a minute, and then you can mince the garlic and freeze it into ice cubes if needed for later.
- kzrdude 4y agoGently squeezing the clove under the blade of the knife on the cutting-board and it's easy to peel that way too. I find it works just fine, especially in combination with just chopping it afterwards (instead of using a garlic crusher).
- adammarples 4y agoI don't like to crush the garlic because I tend to grate it
