If there's one thing I've learned in my life, is that a scary-high number of people who are supposed to be on my side, who are theoretically my people, are diametrically opposed to my entire life, and are merely pretending to tolerate my continued existence.
- jaywalk 4y agoWhy would you assume that the fact that someone is a programmer indicates to you anything at all about literally any other aspect of their life or views? It seems to me that you just built up your own little fantasy world, and are shocked that reality doesn't align with it.
- lifeformed 4y agoThey're not talking about programmers, they're talking about a lot of everyday people who you would expect to respect you as a person, but would in actuality prefer for you to suffer and die. That's the reality a lot of people face, and the people who don't face that are completely oblivious to it.
