  I thought he already was. He's not running for re-election this year, he announced that last October. He accepted membership in the Jan 6 House committee. That's heresy.

If Republicans in the early 1980s had taken Barry Goldwater's advice and done to Jerry Falwell and his ilk what punks and metalheads typically do to neo-Nazis when they show up at concerts (kick their fucking asses) we might not have to think of Lauren Boebert as anything but a gun nut who owns a theme bar and looks like she ought to do porn. In such a world, Mike Pence wouldn't have been Vice President of anything but his local NAMBLA chapter. But, no. Conservatives just had to give the Christian Right a nice sloppy rimjob.

People like Kinzinger are exactly what people mean when they say "boomer." Totally disconnected from what people actually think or want and righteously angry about it. EDIT: The whole point of the jan6 protest was that we're not convinced the current government was, in fact, elected by us.

  I find that he precisely addresses my desires to know about seditious conspiracies to overthrow the government. It’s funny that you would find seditious conspiracies to overthrow the government to not be in the publics interest, as our government is elected by us.

Historians have recently uncovered documents from the long ago 21st century dark ages concerning the mysterious time of "The Barmaid Rebellion". Among beer cans and fast food wrappers was found a napkin fragment believed to be in Rep. Boeberts lipstick with the words "The Clinton Dipsy Doodle - plans for a New America". Also found were many long thin shards of potato and paper fragments with the faded letters "Mc Don.... Big Ma..." It is believed that "Mc Don" was the name of their religious sects god. And "Dipsy Doodle" is an ancient African tribal curse to send their goddess Ella Fitzgerald to smite their enemies... The Dipsy Doodle's the thing to beware The Dipsy Doodle will get in your hair And if it gets you, it couldn't be worse The things you say will come out in reverse…
