I've been self-hosting meshcentral for many months now. Been mostly solid, except for the following criticism: - top notice bar is too big and blocks browser tabs when remoting in (ideally it should be like teamviewer/RDP notification bar, able to be dragged around and compacted) - there's a bug where if you click the top bar a few times it'll freeze and crash, forcing a reconnect of the session (it's a logged bug on github, probably will be fixed soon™) - can't ctrl-c/v during remote session (but can use the clipboard tool with a few mouse clicks - UI leaves a bit to be desired, but the features for remoting in are there and work. I'm glad meshcentral exists. Otherwise I'm more than happy to not use Teamviewer and not support their scummy tactics. Also might be worth looking at rustdesk.
