Mainstream Christians don't reject the most basic findings of science; plenty of mainstream Christians believe in evolution, the big bang, and quantum mechanics. Is that really so? I think the majority of Christians aren't familiar enough with any of those things to really know if they believe them. As far as Palin is concerned, after hearing the kinds of bullshit answers she's been giving I've come to think she is a typical ignorant american hypocrite at her core and it would not surprise me if she knew less about specific Christian teachings then she knows about scientific ones.
