To be honest would you do that with a movie?
- bob1029 4y agoI think it depends. A movie theater or a streaming multimedia platform? Blu ray in hand or Netflix? I feel the business model and format are factors in this equation. In this particular case, the cost to the vendor of expensing merchandise is negligible because it is digital. If it was physical, or time & place, the conversation would be a little different.
- cm2187 4y agoWell even streaming. I watch a movie, then I claim it’s a bad movie and want my money back.
- MikeSchurman 4y agoI think if you watched 10% of a movie (which streaming platforms can track) and decided you didn't want to watch it, yeah. A good service provider would give you your money back. Would 1% of people take advantage of this and watch 10% of a movie and ask for a refund? Probably, but the good will to the other 99% would pay for that, IMO.
- qikInNdOutReply 4y agoStand up right in the middle, walk to the entrance, demand my money back if it sucked to bad. Turns out, there is a too low for quality and a too much to riddle a product with exploitive "features" - people have a right to walk out on that and demand their money back from the scammers.
- jpambrun 4y agoIt would be appropriate to refund movies purchased by mistake or by a child using a parent's account, yes.
