Ask HN: uBlock Origin Filters for WSJ?
I used to really like the WSJ, and am a paid subscriber, but recently they put up some script that makes me disable my adblocker. Anyone have a way to get around that with uBlock origin or anything else? Some of the ads are very annoying.
- pwg 4y agoSearch the article url on https://archive.today/ https://archive.today/ - most are already archived, read the archived copy. If not archived, then archive it, then read the archived copy.
- haspoken 4y agoPrepend "https://archive.is/ https://archive.is/" to the url see if it has been added. I use the following as a bookmarklet: javascript:(function(){window.location="https://archive.is/"+window.location;})(); The FAQ has some other tips that are useful: https://archive.ph/faq
