For anyone having the same problem, a standalone Hardware Server install on Arch communicating with the containerised Vivado might be a solution (haven't tried it yet). There is also an AUR package for it.
- d_tr 4y agoThe Hardware Server from Vivado Lab Edition seems to work cleanly. You need to install at least "ncurses5-compat-libs" from the AUR and "libxcrypt-compat" from the official repos, install Vivado Lab Edition and run the script for the cable drivers. I only tried with an Arty A7-100 board now. I will post an update here here if still possible when I install Vivado in the container.
