Show HN: SubReply CSS – An exprimental classless CSS style that I am working on
Hey HN!
Recently I came across SubReply[0], a social media site, and its CSS style is really nice. So nice that I decided to rip it and modified it to become a classless CSS style.
I spend about a few hours modding the CSS, removing/replacing class-based part, fixing bugs, and add additional features, such as custom blockquotes.
The style will needs some more work, but basically it has done what it needs to do.
I would love hearing your feedbacks and comments on the project!

- strongpigeon 4y agoThe style looks nice and I like the classless approach. Couple things though: The snippet block in the demo page [0] doesn't work. Some CSS variables are declared (e.g. --silver, --orange) but never used. Grabbing fonts from some catbox.moe is risky and a privacy concern for would-be user. - memorable 4y agoHey there! Thanks for replying. - I'm trying to get the snippet block on the demo page to work. But for some reason it just blends as normal HTML, and it's really frustrating. - Some of those colors are never used. I will purge them later. - I'm trying to find a place to host the font used (Route 159), but can't find a hosted version of it. I will host on Catbox as a temporary solution.
