Have people forgotten how to behave in the office?
- jleyank 4y agoI would find the Getty image of “people collaborating” hell on earth when trying to code. I’d end up offending people with my language and demeanour, trying to get them to take their noise somewhere else. If, however, this was supposed to be technical collaboration, where’s the whiteboard and conference table? People have forgotten or discarded all sorts of polite constructs over the last decade (often called political correctness and discarded gleefully). Not a surprise that this grates on people in a bullpen. And you’d think that companies would move away from shitty offices if they want people in them.
