Heh. An old boss gave me what he considered a "PITA" (pain in the ass) project, which I quite enjoyed. A client had been printing cheques with an embedded bitmap in the PCL code for the CFO's signature, and then they got a new CFO. My task was to figure out enough of the PCL to find the signature, and patch in a replacement for the new guy. I thought it was great fun, and certainly compared to bashing away on the Progress 4GL tool that was his hammer for all things.
