I lived in a Chinese neighborhood at the time and there weren't any hate crimes. I feel like news agencies find a hot topic latch on and blow it out of proportion. Fear sells like nothing else.

- mushbino 4y agoThe question was literally "Has anyone here witnessed an Asian hate crime?" I have not. I was not saying they didn't happen since I'm very aware they have. Somehow they magically stopped in SF Chinatown when SFPD was forced to walk the beat after many occurances.
