Martin is just trolling to get traffic to his newly launched Substack.
On 2022-04-02, I paid $32 to Amazon Pharmacy for a 90 count of Bupropion XL 300mg.
Tonight, I'm ordering a refill of my prescription from Mark Cuban's CostPlus Drug Company, for the same Bupropion XL 300mg, but 180 count, for $19.20 + $5 shipping = $24.20.
Amazon Pharmacy cost me $0.355/pill. Mark Cuban's CostPlus Drug Company will cost me $0.135/pill. That's 2.6x cheaper.
For comparison, using GoodRx, the cheapest pharmacy near me is Acme Markets Pharmacy who is selling the 90 count of 300mg for $22.39, which is $0.249/pill, cheaper than Amazon Pharmacy, but more expensive than MCCPDC.
In the end, I'm saving $40-50/year on this prescription through MCCPDC - is this life changing? Thankfully, no.
But, to claim that MCCPDC isn't cheaper than the prevailing alternative purchasing options? Sorry, clickbait troll.
