I get tons of email like "Thanks for the application, you're the kind of person we're looking for, please come interview at such-and-such a time, and bring the following documentation..." If I was looking for entry-level QA or IT jobs, I'd probably explore one just for laughs. I suspect it's less of a hacker/pii problem, and more my own fault for having the kind of email address that random weirdos are likely to type in when they are doing something hinky on employment websites.
