I don't know about now but at one time Firebird made this question moot.
It never received the love it deserved in my view.
- kstrauser 4y agoMany years ago, I was hired at a web shop running Firebird in protection. It had the interesting property that if you ran the client software on your desktop to connect to the server software on another host, and used ^Z to stop the client, then the server process would hang until you resumed the client. I'm not entirely sure how I'd implement that as a feature if I wanted to.
