- JoeAltmaier 4y agoHa! Our Iowa State Fair has the same two names on 1st/2nd in nearly every jelly/jam category. A fellow (Rod Zeitler, usually first) and his Mom (usually 2nd). And another lady (unrelated) in 3rd but occasionally swapping for 2nd with one of them. The guy is an internist (I recall) and makes jam as a way of centering himself. Learned from his Mom of course.
