I'd argue it's quite an easy language to learn, even.
Though there are things what show its Batch background, I used it on z/OS and the fact that the application did none of its own IO was weird for me.
- mkovach 4y agoYea, it has it quirks (every language does) and does show it's age in things. I didn't mind the language itself, but the application I worked on was inventory related, which was mind-numbingly boring.
