Reading the comments on these kinds of HN posts stresses me out. Not for me, but for you. I wish I could just give you all a big hug and a pep talk. The demand for software engineers is expanding faster than new engineers are minted. There are lots of excellent, well-paying jobs going unfilled out there and with persistence one of them is yours. If you fail a tech interview, it's ok. It happens, and all too often it's a blessing in disguise. Well-designed tech interviews bring your strengths to the surface and you will do well. Otherwise it's just a crap shoot and sometimes you win anyway. Chin up. You will make it.
