Easy: abolish federal income tax.
If we want to keep it, remove all deductions/credits, adjust the rate to something realistic (e.g. 5%) and make the IRS responsible for sending an annual bill to collect.
- patrick451 4y agoTotally agree. Automatic tax withholding from your paycheck makes it way to easy to forget how much big brother is taking from you. If we all had to write the IRS a check every quarter, the pitchforks would come out.
