Wait a SEC, That’s Not an *RMB* Liquidity Pool
- r_hoods_ghost 4y agoI genuinely don't understand some economists. "For China, the rock is the global economy which is decidedly un-inflationary and only getting more so by the month." Global inflation has been steadily rising from 2-3% at the start of 2021 and is at something like 6-7% now. The only way you can claim that the global economy is "un-inflationary" is if you ignore what the actual economy is doing and is likely to do when, oh let's see, winter arrives in Europe and there's a massive gas shortage due to the ongoing war I Ukraine , and instead only look at your neo classical mathematical models.
- Centrino 4y agoTitle should be "Wait a Sec", not "Wait a SEC". It's a second, not the Securities and Exchange Commission. Especially in a post about finance and economics, this is an important distinction that can lead to misleasing titles and make the difference between a click and a non-click. I'm always baffled to see how even the simple copying of a title seems to be non-trivial on HN...
