I'd like that for some cases. Why should the socialising happen in my repo, couldn't it happen in the repo of other people who are developing on top of my work?

I'd like that for some cases. Why should the socialising happen in my repo, couldn't it happen in the repo of other people who are developing on top of my work? (ie the forks)
