If anyone out there thinks there are still people who don't realize that "correlation does not equal causation", don't worry, we all know.
- bink 4y agoNow you just have to convince them that scientists know how to control for these effects.
- Jensson 4y agoScientists are incentivised to not control for these effects, so often they don't. Especially in papers reaching the news since they are usually "ground breaking" because they abused statistics.
