Quoting the article: 'Describing an Alabama law making it a felony to provide gender-affirming care for those under 18, she slumped in her office chair and stared toward the camera. “They literally want these kids to f-----g kill themselves,” she said. “I don’t know what the future looks like.”' The Alabama legislators do not want children with gender dysphoria to kill themselves.
- EddieDante 4y agoConsidering the elevated suicide rate among LGTBT youth who aren't accepted, including kids who don't get gender-affirming care, it's hard to refrain from suspecting that Alabama legislators are perfectly fine with queer kids killing themselves.
