- tessierashpool 4y ago600 sq ft in Oakland isn't that far off from 600 sq ft in NYC at this point. it's cheaper, but it's getting there. I've thought about moving back to the Bay, but I can get two to four times as much square feet at the same price, and I've been working mostly remote for almost 20 years.
