What's really wild is when you realise that over half of all humans do not have access to infrastructure that safely disposes of their bodily waste. I'm currently working on a project to build a composting toilet and doing research for it has really opened my eyes to the world of sanitation and how much there is to be done. If anyone is interested, I found the forum on susana.org has lots of great resources.
