It's a disease we have a vaccine for (stockpiled even), have studied extensively for decades, causes low to no long term issues and isn't debilitating. Pretty awful as bioweapon choice.
- eurasiantiger 4y agoDepends on what the weapon is used for. An epidemic of a disfiguring disease linked to a divisive minority is a breeding ground for hate. It fosters in- and outgroup geopolitical identities and redirects domestic attention away from world issues.
