Russia Defaults on Foreign Debt
- mikece 4y agoFrom a WaPo version of the article: "[Russia] has the cash but is unable to [make payment to] creditors because sanctions have cut Russia out of international payment systems." Seems to me this would trigger a force majeur clause in most contracts.
