- blueflow 4y ago> without any influence in meatspace whatsoever Why do you think meatspace is any better to begin with? Is it just you? 4chan is an online reflection of what always has been there.
- rini17 4y agoWhat thing similar to /pol/ was always been there, can you name an example please?
- blueflow 4y agoWorking-class people / blue-collars.
- rini17 4y agoDid they have communities like that?
- blueflow 4y agoThey are like that at work. No special "communities" or circles necessary.
- rini17 4y agoI as not asking about individuals. Do you have examples like qanon conspiracy or capitol insurrection that were organized by blue collars at work?
- blueflow 4y agoWhats your implication there? Do you believe that the qanon conspiracy or capitol insurrection were organized by 4chan?
- rini17 4y agoorganized on 4chan, not by
- dangerface 4y ago> Do you have examples like qanon conspiracy or capitol insurrection that were organized by blue collars at work? The JFK assassination conspiracy was a popular long before the internet existed and before qanon created a resurgence in that thinking. Most of the conspiracy stuff qanon spreads is lifted from mein kamf. The world existed before the internet and people are dumb as ever.
- rini17 4y agoAnd Mein Kampf was banned in some countries, and spreading passages from it is still problematic today.
- usrn 4y agoThe US has a decently long history of conspiracy theorists (and conspiracies to give them credit.)
