- throwthroyaboat 4y agoAre fords engineers unionized? if not, you might be comparing apples and oranges. None of the Tesla layoffs so far have effected hourly positions, and they are still hiring plenty for people who actually build cars/packs/panels. The layoffs were engineering/design/HR/admin/management/etc.
