DevOps is a culture of work. Same as some ppl waking up every day to run a mile, then drink an energy drink and drive their kids to school -> Being a real DevOps takes effort, commitment and rigourous routine. After some time you get used to it. But not a lot of ppl can actually get to that point. Someone asked me how to grow DevOps culture in a company -> it's like asking "How to make ppl run 1 mile every day?". You cannot "make" ppl do that, you have to find correct ppl. And here is the reason why DevOps as a culture failed in the real world.
