Yeah, no. I would see a pickup basketball game as “pissing my time away”. I don’t like basketball and loathe playing competitive sports. Further, I really enjoy doing things by myself. I often play video games to challenge myself — it’s me versus a previous version of me. Just goes to show ya — those “magical moments” are highly personal and defined by the things that give a person joy. And for some folks — like me — that includes video games!
