Did not read the article. Just want to point out: This is a very clickbait title for a Nature magazine article. Nature (and its competitor Science) are supposed to be two of the most prestigious scientific journals. Not at all the place you expect to find mass-media like titles on publications...
- potamic 4y agoI think you should read the article. The title is exactly what it outlines. The article is basically a report of what various public health researchers are speaking on the issue. These people actually study the consequences of abortion restrictions and its impacts on society. There is no better way to understand the most up to date scientific evidence, than directly from the researchers.
- pacarvalho 4y agoI don't disagree with the content of the article or the authority of the authors. Just pointing out it was worded as a clickbait and I did not expect that from Nature magazine. I have had the opportunity to work on a few scientific publications and the titles are often more technical. For instance, "Preliminary Characterization of a Plastic Piezoelectric Motor Stator Using High-Speed Digital Holographic Interferometry" not "analyzing the world's first plastic motor".
