There were other articles but this one postulated a cause which I figured could be lectin poisoning. Be sure to never eat raw lentils or beans.

- pacarvalho 4y agoTrue. However, can lectin poisoning actually cause liver damage? I thought it would cause stomach problems but nothing that serious... Maybe there is something else going on?
- ohiovr 4y agoIt does seem extreme but if the product is tasty and there is seemed no cause for concern it could be eaten often which most Americans don't eat lentils daily, cooked, or otherwise. I just stocked up on lentils. They are easy and fast to cook actually. No soaking required. How a lentil product can be processed without cooking is kind of interesting. How can that happen I wonder? I cross-polinated this story and someone said there is a reddit thread talking about it. So you might be right, this might be something other than undercooked leptin. https://www.reddit.com/r/vegetarian/comments/vgw4vd/daily_harvest_tells_customers_to_dump_its_new/ https://www.reddit.com/r/vegetarian/comments/vgw4vd/daily_ha...
