Is it better to get a Tech Co-founder before Seed round or after?
- larambam 4y agoHi HN: Leonard Here from Toodley Company www.Toodley.com. We (My co-founder and I) are building the "Airbnb of Experiential Learning" with a vision to Bring Family and Friends together to Collect Moments & Memories. We do this by connecting talented instructors and people for live, in-person classes. We provide an easy way for friends and family to find something entertaining and educational to do together to make wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. We have just raised Friends and family round and built the MVP ourselves. We have started getting initial traction and will be working on raising Seed Fund. Questions: 1. Is it better to have a Tech co-founder now or wait for seed round and get a product lead as an employee? 2. What are the Pros and Cons of having a Tech Co-founder? (We are not software engineers so having a tech person in house is a plus) 3. If we get a Co-founder now - What % equity is fair? We can also give a pre-seed based salary. 4. What is the best way to find a Tech Co-founder? Thanks Leonard
