I can honestly say that I won't be buying another Dell. A BIOS upgrade on my PowerEdge T40 changed something in the ACPI area which caused one CPU to spin constantly at about 50% load. I found others that had the problem and a fix that requires you to disable an interrupt. After numerous attempts to get information out of Dell as to what they changed, I gave up, because all I received was corporate doublespeak and non-awswers.
