Real life WOPR incoming. Shall we play a game?

  Years ago, a late friend and I had a little ritual. One of us would be hunched over a terminal in the operations booth of our workplace's datacenter, trying to figure out why $critical_service was not coming back up after patching. The other would see the alert in Intermapper, come downstairs, and amongst the alarms and ringing phones, solemnly intone: "Mr. McKittrick, after very careful consideration, sir, I have come to the conclusion that your new defense system...sucks." This always managed to lighten the mood.
