Move to blue enclaves inside red states to change how the (admittedly broken) vote will turn out? What kind of solution is that? It won't do anything to un-divide the country. As an outsider, USA democrats are as guilty as the republicans are of believing the other party to be untermenschen, a population whose votes are irrelevant. The electorate can't not see the other side as inhuman; the politicians can only win when they exploit hate and hyperbole. On and on the cycle goes. A perfectly insane co-dependent relationship. The way it looks to me as a non-american, the systems needs to undergo a phase change beyond the red/blue dichotomy. Or it'll be some cold civil war for sure.
