Web-based fractal viewer, with an editor
- bamia 4y agoRecently, I discovered the world of web development and WebGL. So I ported a fractal editor I made a couple of years ago into a webpage. No support for WebGL(1) for now, so it won't work on apple devices for now.
- passion__desire 4y agoCan you have multiple presets which users can reload and enjoy without fiddling with values?
- bamia 4y agoYes, this is something that I plan to implement in the future. I also plan to implement "uniform" values that you can change with sliders; adding user-provided textures; time-based variables... The viewer is in a very early stage.
- GravitasFailure 4y agoIt's hard to overstate how awesome fractals are. Thanks for sharing this! I'm on mobile, so the fractal got squished into a thin strip on the left side of the screen, but turning to landscape or desktop modes fixes it.
- bamia 4y agoYes, I've just updated it so the editor is placed on the bottom when the page is in portrait mode.
