I'm also curious as to what is tiresome running as a regular user. I'm a developer and run two users (standard/admin) without any issue. Only issue I run into is having to switch to the admin user to run brew.
- DavideNL 4y ago...which you can do with: su - admin You can also run gui apps as admin, like: sudo -u admin /System/Applications/Utilities/Console.app/Contents/MacOS/Console

- assttoasstmgr 4y agoRemember when Apple made a delusional commercial that mocked UAC [1] yet here we are over 15 years later and it looks like Microsoft was the one that got it right.
