macOS Monterey unannounced security misfeature
- LeoPanthera 4y agoTerminal stops apps stealing focus when Secure Text Entry is turned on. It's literally designed to do that. That the author disagrees with that behavior doesn't make it a bug.
- lapcat 4y agoAuthor here. This is not a charitable interpretation of what I said. See especially my points at the end explaining how the implementation could be improved. The bug is that nobody except Apple engineers even know "It's literally designed to that." I had to file a Feedback to discover this.
